15 years of DTH! We’ve all built this Down The Hatch castle from the sand up. That is why I want DTH 2025 to be the ultimate reunion. I never could have dreamed that I would be able to keep this party going for 15 years, so consider this a thank you to everyone involved.   

Over the years, you – the attendees – have put your trust in me to deliver the best possible experience. For 2025, I’ve invited artists who were there from the beginning and who really made DTH what I knew it could be for both musician and guest. 

  In the early days, the acts let down their guards, shared their talents, felt the love and appreciation from the DTH family, and ultimately became your friends. It was such a reciprocal and inspiring weekend where everyone went home with hearts, souls, and minds full. You simply cannot plan for this outcome even though it was what I had always hoped for. My team and I put the pieces in place for this garden to grow, but you just never know. We are very proud of what makes DTH stand alone—there simply isn’t anything like it.

  I have such fond memories of impromptu moments that were hatched on the spot, out of that comfortable feeling of camaraderie. While I can’t guarantee “all-nighters” on the beach, late-night deck jams with Tolcher and Keaton, parties in Pat’s room, indoor pool drum jams, or that talking bird in the lobby, I CAN promise you the same level of pure fun that only DTH can provide.

  We are definitely planning Q & A sessions with artists accompanied by a video/slideshow piece that will make you smile ear to ear and/or cry like you’re at your kid’s graduation or sports banquet. We will be reaching out for you to share memories to make this truly special. There might have to be awards given out, just sayin’.

  I hope if you came to Down The Hatch in the mid 2000’s, you will join us again; and if you’re somewhat new to this epic experience, you will come see what built DTH: the people. Having this many artists together who have such a shared history can only lead to one thing—pure musical magic.

  One teaser we can share now… the theme night (there might be two!) will be “FRIENDS COVERING FRIENDS.” Come dressed as a DTH artist and we’ll do the same and cover songs by one another. Now THIS is going to be special. I know how incredibly moved I felt when Adam Ezra Group covered “Shine.” Just imagine the live music version of Secret Santa.
